Nick Walsh’s drawings and sculptures explore different approaches to the urban landscape, from abstract to perfect symmetry. His drawing palette involves monochromatic tones of charcoal and chalk pastel on fabriano paper, exposing the simple beauty of form.
Nick’s ceramic sculptures created in stoneware with layers of underglaze are playful and encourage rotation to appreciate the detail. Nick Walsh studied graphic design and worked for many years in advertising. He currently divides his time between his art , visual
business communication and animation. Nick lives in Johannesburg and has had four solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows.
