Drake

Drake is a graffiti artist, illustrator and tattoo artist. He started graffiti at the age of 12 years old, when he was introduced to graffiti by a friend . He has loved every second of it since. He has now been painting for about 13 years and every year he feels like there are bigger and better opportunities. He mainly enjoys painting his name on the streets because that’s what graffiti should be about but because he has an artistic background it’s allowed him to paint a variety of different murals and he now works for himself as a fulltime freelance artist painting commissions all over South Africa. He studied at the national school of art and He has a degree in graphic design which have both influenced his graffiti in huge ways and have changed his perspectives on the world as a whole. 2019 was an amazing year for him as he had the opportunity to go to Bulgaria to paint at an art festival where he painted with other international artists from London and from Sofia. That was his first time overseas then in 2020 he had a opportunity painting in Saudi Arabia ,as he was commissioned to paint three huge murals.
